FREE: TeenDIVERSOPHY® cards online

diversiRISK™ cards (red) show  multicultural  situations that any student who lives in our multicultural society might have to face. These cards are worth 4 points.

The difference between these situations and diversiCHOICE situations is that there is NO CHOICE to be made. Points are awarded for playing the card.

diversiRISK Card 1

You have not been raised in a particular religion and are visiting your extended family in another state. At mealtime, they ask you to recite a prayer. You politely explain that you wouldn’t feel comfortable and you would rather someone else did it.

FOR BEING RESPECTFUL OF A CULTURE DIFFERENT THAN YOUR OWN, YOU EARNED 4 POINTS.

diversiRISK Card 2

Quechua is the language of the Inca people in South America. Over 8 million speak it, making it the most widely spoken American Indian language.

These English words were derived from the Quechua language: cocoa, condor, puma, and jerky.

CONGRATULATIONS ON LEARNING SOMETHING NEW ABOUT ANOTHER CULTURE. YOU EARNED 4 POINTS.
